To create a replication link

1. Prerequisites:

   Create the replication VIP.

2. Create the replication link between the source and the destination clusters.
3. Enter the source and the destination cluster details.

   Link Name	Enter the link name for the source and the destination clusters.
   Cluster Name	Enter the cluster IP address for the destination cluster, the primary console IP where you installed Access Appliance.
   Username	Enter the username for the destination cluster. To authenticate a different cluster for replication, you must provide the "primary" user credentials.
   Password	Enter the password for the destination cluster.

4. View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.

To set up a replication virtual IP

1. Set up a dedicated virtual IP address between the source and the destination cluster.

   If you have already set up a virtual IP address, this field is not enabled.

   Enter a unique virtual IP address.

2. View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.

To delete a replication link

1. Select the replication link that you want to delete.
2. Click the ellipsis beside the replication link and click Remove Link.
3. Enter the username and password for the source and destination clusters.
4. View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task to delete the replication link.

To modify a replication unit

1. Prerequisites:

   Create a replication VIP.

   Create a replication link.

   Configure a replication job.

   Set a replication schedule.

2. File Systems: Select the file system for which you want to modify the replication unit.
3. Click the Replication tab.
4. Click on the Modify Replication Unit button.
5. Follow the prompts and click Add.
6. View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.

To delete a replication virtual IP

1. Prerequisites:

   Delete the replication job.

   Delete the replication link.

2. Settings > Replication Management: Click Delete Replication VIP.
3. Confirm that you want to delete the replication VIP.
4. View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.

To set a replication schedule

1. Prerequisites:

   Set up a virtual IP address between the source and the destination cluster.

   Create a replication link.

   Configure a replication job.

   Select a replication link.

2. Click File Systems, and select a file system for which you want to run replication.
3. Click Replication > Configure Replication Job.
4. Step through the Configure Replication Job wizard tasks to Set Schedule.
5. Specify the recurrence pattern and how often the replication job should recur.
6. Click Set Schedule.
7. View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.

To modify a replication schedule

1. Prerequisites:
2. Set up a replication schedule.
3. Click Edit Replication Schedule and update the appropriate options.
