Prerequisites before you can create NetBackup application instances
Before you begin working with NetBackup application instances, make sure that you have fully reviewed the NetBackup Flex Appliance Getting Started and Administration Guide and have performed all of the following tasks:
Completed the initial configuration
Verified that you can access the Flex Appliance Console
Configured at least one network interface
Added at least one tenant
Added the application that you want to use to the repository
You also need access to the NetBackup web UI, the NetBackup Administration Console or the NetBackup Remote Administration Console, and the NetBackup client software. See Installing the NetBackup Administration Console and client packages.
