Compute node rear panel
The rear panel of the compute node contains several components and default ports that are embedded. Three PCIe riser assemblies support various configurations.
The three PCIe riser assemblies are numbered, 1, 2, and 3 from right to left. Slots 1 through 8 are shown in the risers. PCIe riser card assemblies 1 and 2 each support three standard PCIe cards, while PCIe riser card assembly 3 supports two low profile PCIe cards.
The following ports and connectors are available on the rear panel:
A, H: Power Supply Units
B: ID Button
C: VGA port
D: IPMI remote management port
E: Unused serial port
F: Two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports
G: OCP 3.0 slot with four copper, RJ45, 10 Gb Ethernet ports, host1, host0, Privnic1, and Privnic0, left to right
Note:
The embedded Ethernet ports are copper. PCIe Ethernet ports are optical. You cannot bond the copper ports and the optical ports to each other.
The riser assembly 2, Slot 1 is reserved for the RAID PCIe card
The appliance does not include grounding studs in case your lab environment has such a requirement.
