NetBackup™ Administrator's Guide, Volume I

Unlock a NetBackup user

You can view the user accounts that are currently locked out of NetBackup and unlock one or more users.

By default a user's account only remains locked for 24 hours. You can change this time by adjusting the User sessions > User account settings > User account lockout setting.

To unlock out a locked user account

  1. Open the web UI.
  2. On the left, click Security > User sessions.
  3. At the top right, click User account settings.
  4. Go to the Locked users tab.
  5. Select the user account that you want to unlock.
  6. Select Unlock.

 

To unlock all locked user accounts

  1. Open the web UI.
  2. On the left, click Security > User sessions.
  3. At the top right, click User account settings.
  4. Go to the Locked users tab.
  5. Select Unlock all users.
