Configuring the S3 service

To use S3 interface for MSDP, you can configure S3 service on an MSDP WORM storage server instance.

To configure the S3 service

  1. Open an SSH session to the server.
  2. Run the following command:

    setting s3srv s3srv-config s3srv_ca_type=<ca type> [s3srv_loglevel=<log level>] [s3srv_port=<s3 port>]

    • s3srv_ca_type: Certificate authority type. NBCA: 1, ECA: 2.

    • s3srv_loglevel: S3 server log level.

      None: 0

      Error: 1

      Warning: 2

      Info: 3 (default)

      Debug: 4

    • s3srv_port: S3 server port. Default port is 8443.
