Limitations for restores

Following are the limitations associated with XBSA-based recovery of PostgreSQL and MySQL in the NetBackup web UI:

  • If backups are created using a protection plan or policy with keywords, restore operations are only supported using the Workloads node in the web UI or using the CLI.

  • If backups are created using a policy without keywords, then the restores can only be performed using the CLI.

  • Partial files or folders recovery

    • The Workloads node in the web UI does not provide an option to restore partial files or folders.

    • The CLI does not support the restore of partial files or folders.

    • Using the Recovery node in the web UI to perform a partial file or folder restore is not supported.
