NetBackup status code: 7641
Explanation: The NetBackup process cannot initiate an SSL handshake with the vnetd proxy on a remote host because a common certificate authority root cannot be determined.
Recommended Action: Examine the error message for the details of which CA Roots each NetBackup process advertised. The following are possible causes of this error:
Recommended Action: Missing, expired, or revoked host certificate on the local or the remote host. In case of the NetBackup CA, verify that the hosts have a valid host ID-based certificate. In case of an external CA, verify that the external certificate and keystore paths are correctly set in the external certificate configuration file. If the host is configured to use an encrypted keystore, ensure that the correct passphrase for the certificate's private key is specified for the ECA_KEY_PASSPHRASEFILE configuration option.
Recommended Action: The hosts are not members of the same NetBackup domain. In case of the NetBackup CA, ensure that both hosts have host ID-based certificates issued by the required master server. In case of an external CA, ensure that both hosts have the external certificates that are enrolled with the required master server.
