NetBackup status code: 9866

Message: The NetBackup host certificate that is provided to Snapshot Manager is not valid or does not exist.

Explanation: The NetBackup host certificate that is provided to Snapshot Manager is not valid or does not exist or is revoked.

Recommended Action: Try one of the following as appropriate:

  • Review the nbcs/bpfis/bppfi level error messages that are displayed in Job details on the Activity monitor. For more details, review the component logs.

  • Review the nbwebservice/nbemm level error message for the Snapshot Manager and plug-in configuration. For more details, review the component logs.

  • Review the NetBackup error codes or messages appearing in the previously specified logs. These logs can provide additional insight into the actual SSL certificate issue or connectivity issues between primary server and Snapshot Manager.
