Message: Media server is not recognized.
Explanation: The master server has detected unauthorized connection attempts to nbemm. An attempted threshold count has been reached. You need to determine if a configuration change is required to maintain good performance of the master server.
Recommended Action: This error does not necessarily mean that a configuration change is required. However, repeated instances of this error indicate that a configuration change should be considered to maintain good master server performance.
Perform the following as appropriate:
Add authorization for the media server on the master server and restart the NetBackup services on the media server.
Add media server to the PBX

Uninstall media server software.
Shut down the media server.
Warning:
In a NetBackup DNAT environment, the identified IP address and host name may point to a gateway and not the media server. Verify the host information before attempting additional steps to resolve the problem.
