Message: unable to send a start command to a reader or a writer process on media server
Explanation: The bpsynth process is unable to send a command to the bptm or the bpdm process on the media server.
Recommended Action: Ensure that network connectivity exists between the master and the media server. Look for additional error messages in the NetBackup error log. More detailed information is present in the debug logs for bpsynth (on master server) and bptm or bpdm on the media server. If the problem persists, contact customer support and send the appropriate logs.
