NetBackup™ Status Codes Reference Guide

NetBackup status code: 6711

Message: Unable to backup MongoDB configuration file.

Explanation: Backup operation also backs up the MongoDB configuration file. An access issue can cause the backup operation to not back up the MongoDB configuration file.

Recommended Action: Review the mdbserver logs for more details.

Try the following as appropriate:

  • Review the access control for the MongoDB configuration file. Allow the host user that is specified in the tpconfig for this node, all the rights that are required to read the MongoDB configuration file.

  • Review the access control rights to the snapshot directory that is specified in tpconfig. Allow the host user that is specified in the tpconfig for this node, the rights to write to the snapshot mount directory.

Retry the operation and if the issue persists, visit the Cohesity Technical Support website. The Cohesity Technical Support website offers additional information to help you troubleshoot this issue.
