NetBackup status code: 6690

Message: The MongoDB rename file is either missing or invalid.

Explanation: NetBackup fails the restore because of the following:

  • If the MongoDB rename file contents are syntactically incorrect

  • A single MongoDB instance host:port is redirected to multiple host:port as part of multiple change entries.

Recommended Action: Review the syntax of the entries in the rename file. In case of recovery to the alternate application server, make sure that the alternate application server is specified in change entry in format as ALT_APPLICATION_SERVER=Host:Port. Also, verify that a single instance host:port is not redirected to multiple host:port.
