Recommended Action: Review the tar log file for the exact error message and as per the restore location.
Try one of the following as appropriate:
Perform a restore to the original location using the option.
Verify that the configuration during the backup operation of the VM that is specified in the error message is available on Azure Stack.
Perform an alternate location restore using the option.
Specify the valid storage account type value in the managed disk rename entry. This step is required only in managed disk VM restores.
Specify the disk resource group name that is configured in the subscription ID on Azure Stack where you want to restore. Add this information in the managed disk rename entry. This step is required only in managed disk VM restores.
Specify the correct value of the subscription ID that is configured on Azure Stack where you want to restore for subscription ID rename entry.
For the
RgNamerename entry, specify the resource group name that is configured for the subscription ID on Azure Stack where you want to restore.For the
Nsgrename entry, specify the network security group that is configured for the subscription ID on Azure Stack where you want to restore.
