Explanation: This status code is an intermediate one that usually precedes another status code and is associated with a problem in network communication.
Recommended Action: During a restore, this status code means that tar (on the client) received a stream of data that was not what it expected. If the restore is a new configuration, verify that the tape drive is configured for variable mode.
