NetBackup status code: 6882

Message: Deletion of a NetBackup Certificate Authority certificate is not allowed.

Explanation: The specified certificate belongs to a host that operates in pure NetBackup Certificate Authority (NBCA) mode. Deletion of NBCA certificates is only allowed in the instances shown:

  • You can delete the NBCA certificate of a media server or a client if the host is enrolled with ECA certificate.

  • You can delete the NBCA certificate of a primary server if the NetBackup domain is configured in the ECA mode.

Recommended Action: Ensure that the ECA certificate is enrolled on the host before you attempt to delete the NBCA certificate. Verify that the domain is in pure ECA mode before you attempt to delete the NBCA certificate of the primary server.
