Troubleshooting MSDP S3 object import
If an import job is not triggered on the replica site after replication completes:
Confirm the import marker is enabled for the policy on the source MSDP storage server:
cacontrol --s3import getbypolicy <PolicyName>
Check the following logs on the MSDP storage server:
cata2s3.log
s3srv.log
A successful import logs entries similar to the following in s3srv.log:
info s3server/gateway.(*LsuInfoSys).startIAShareMonitor: import job detected for bucket '<bucket-name>', starting share processing under exclusive import lock ... info s3server/gateway.(*instantAccessManager).startTimer: all the files in this share have been processed. succeeded(1), failed(0), total(1)
