About adding Veritas Security Services

Bare Metal Restore version 11.2.0.1 does not require separate installation of Veritas Security Services in SRT. Veritas Security Services gets installed into SRT along with NetBackup client installation. For the SRTs containing an older version of NetBackup client, Veritas Security should be installed separately into SRT.

For more information about Access Management components and how to use Access Management, see the NetBackup Security and Encryption Guide.
