NetBackup status code: 5929

Message: The certificate is not in the Active state, so it cannot be renewed.

Explanation: A certificate has three states: active, revoked, and expired. You cannot renew revoked certificates.

Recommended Action: Send the certificate re-issue request after performing corrective actions. If you want to use the same credential (key pair), then the new certificate can be generated using the re-issue token. You can use the following command:

nbcertcmd -getCertificate

If you plan to change credentials, see the NetBackup Security and Encryption Guide for workflow details.
