Checklist for manually editing the Install.ini
Use this checklist when you run Install.bat without the Configurator.
Specify , , and .
Set . If you do not use Windows authentication, provide the SQL administrator credentials in and .
Specify . If the adapter database uses a name, also specify .
Set and .
For an existing database, set . Provide one application key source: , , or .
For an existing database that uses SQL authentication, provide , , , and .
For a new database installation, do not set .
After installation succeeds, remove or redact secrets from
Install.ini.
When , the installer resolves the application key in the following order: → → LegacyProgramFolder\Config → ProgramFolder\Config.
After installation, validate the configuration by running:
nsscmd.exe -validateconfig -configDir "{ProgramFolder}\Config".
