NetBackup™ for Cloud Object Store Administrator's Guide

Error 5549: Cannot validate bucket logging information

Explanation:

This may occur due to the following reasons:

  • Validation failed because the partition prefix is either missing or incorrectly set. Configure bucket logging with the correct date partition prefix.

  • Cannot retrieve the target bucket.

  • Unsupported LoggingType attribute.

  • Missing or invalid target prefix.

  • Cannot retrieve the PartitionDateSource attribute.

Workaround:

Check the configuration and retry the backup operation. Configurations should be like:

  • Each source bucket must have a unique prefix. The prefix cannot be empty.

  • The LoggingType attribute must be Journal.

  • Set the TargetObjectKeyFormat attribute as PartitionedPrefix.

  • Set the PartitionDateSource attribute as EventTime.
