NetBackup™ NAS Administrator's Guide

Required firewall ports

If your NAS server is behind a firewall, open the following ports for NetBackup access.

  • For bi-directional NFS access:

    • TCP port: 2049 (NFS v4)

    • TCP port: 111 (NFS v2/v3)

  • For bi-directional SMB access:

    • TCP port: 445
