Cohesity Cloud Scale Technology Manual Deployment Guide for Kubernetes Clusters

Cloud Scale version compatibility

The Health Checker validates Cloud Scale deployments across different lifecycle phases. Version compatibility requirements vary based on when the checks are run.

  • Pre-deployment: Supported for environments preparing to deploy Cloud Scale version 11.2 or later.

  • Post-deployment: Requires Cloud Scale version 11.2 or later.

  • Pre-upgrade: Requires Cloud Scale 10.5 or later.

When you run specific tests using the -t/--test option or test categories using the -c/--test-category option, each selection is validated for version compatibility before execution. If a selected test is incompatible with the current Cloud Scale version, the Health Checker reports an error and skips execution of that test.

Some health checks are platform-specific (for example, Amazon EKS or Azure AKS). If a check does not apply to the detected platform, it is automatically skipped.
