Specifying the primary server for a NetBackup for DB2 client

After you add your NetBackup for DB2 client to a policy, specify the primary server for the client.

Note:

Add the server names to the primary server before you configure the server list on the client.

To specify the primary server for a NetBackup for DB2 client

  1. Open the NetBackup web UI.
  2. On the left, select Hosts > Host properties.
  3. Select the NetBackup for DB2 client name.
  4. If necessary, select Connect. Then select Edit client.
  5. Select Servers.
  6. Verify that the correct server displays as the Primary server.

If the correct server does not display, locate the server name in the Additional servers list, and click Actions > Make primary. Alternatively, select Add to add a new server name to the list.

  7. Click Save.
