NetBackup™ for KVM Administrator's Guide

Disable a KVM host

You can disable a KVM host in certain situations, such as if the host is offline for maintenance or for other reasons. Only registered KVM hosts can be disabled.

Backup jobs will fail with error 1027 for the disabled KVM hosts.

To disable a KVM host

  1. On the left, select Workloads > KVM, then select the Hosts tab.
  2. Select the host that you want to disable and click Disable.

You can enable the disabled hosts to resume backup jobs for the virtual machines from the KVM hosts.
