Identifying images not created through the MVG volume on the MSDP server

You can identify backup images on the MSDP server that are not created through the MVG volume using the NetBackup web UI or the command line.

Identifying images not created through the MVG volume on the MSDP server using web UI

  1. On the left, click Catalog > Search.
  2. In the Media section, from the Disk type dropdown list, select PureDisk.
  3. From the Disk pool dropdown, select the disk pool of PureDiskVolume of the MSDP server.
  4. From the Volume dropdown list, select PureDiskVolume and set the date and time range, which can cover all the backup images.
  5. Click Search.

Identifying images not created through the MVG volume on the MSDP server using the command line:

  • On the primary server or one of the load balance media servers of the MSDP server, run the following command:

    /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpimmedia -d 01/01/2000 -stype PureDisk -dp <msdp-dp> -dv PureDiskVolume
