Message: Block-level incremental backups are not supported for this device
Explanation: The backup policy VMware tab has the option checked.
The NetBackup block-level incremental backup (BLIB) requires the VMware Changed Block Tracking (CBT). The VMware virtual machine hardware must be version 7 or higher to support the VMware Changed Block Tracking (CBT), so you cannot use the NetBackup block-level incremental backup.
Recommended Action: Upgrade the virtual machine hardware to version 7 or higher (see the appropriate VMware documentation).
