Message: Unable to activate change block tracking in current state of virtual machine
Explanation: If change block tracking is not yet enabled on a virtual machine and it has one or more snapshots, NetBackup cannot enable the change block tracking during the backups. This error is caused by a VMware limitation with the QueryChangedDiskAreas API. The virtual machine must not have any snapshots when enabling change block tracking or the reported changed blocks may be inaccurate.
Recommended Action: Delete or consolidate the snapshots on virtual machines on vSphere so that NetBackup can enable change block tracking.
