Microsoft Hyper-V Server Summary

Explore your data center using IT Analytics customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points.

This report lists Hyper-V virtual machines - one line for each physical server with usage and status. Drill down to view details including file systems, mount points and LUNs.

Column name

Description

Host Name

Hostname of the Hyper-V server. Click to drill down to the Host Overview.

Name

Display name of the Hyper-V server.

IP Address

IP address of the Hyper-V Server.

Status

Indicator that reflects the condition of the server: White circle=Status Unknown, Green check mark=Normal, Yellow triangle=Warning, Red X=Alert, definite problem.

System Vendor

Host vendor.

System Model

Model of the host system.

Total Memory

Total memory capacity of the Hyper-V Server.

#CPUs

Total number of processors in the virtual machine.

CPU Vendor

Vendor for the CPU.

CPU Description

Type of processor.

CPU Speed mhz

Processor speed in mhz.

#HBAs

Number of host bus adapters on the Hyper-V Server

#NICs

Number of physical network interface cards.

NIC's Speed (Mbps)

Speed of the interface cards in Mbps.

Cluster Name

Name of the cluster with which the Hyper-V server is associated.

#VMs

Number of VMs configured on this host and in the inventory.

# Active VMs

A VM is active when it is powered on. An inactive VM is in the inventory, but is powered off. This column shows the number of active VMs.

#File System

Total number of Filesystems associated with the Server.

OS Version

The host's specific operating system version, as collected from this vendor product; for example, 6.01.

Avg CPU Usage

The host's average CPU usage for the past 24 hours for the number of samples taken within that time frame.

Total CPU Mhz

Aggregated CPU resources of all servers, in MHz.

Avg Memory Usage %

The Hyper-Vserver average memory usage for the past 24 hours for the number of samples taken within that time frame.

Total Memory Size

Total memory capacity of the Hyper-V Server.

Storage File System

Used/Total capacity for associated filesystem(s).

Last Updated

The date and time the data was updated in the Portal database.
