Veritas Netbackup protection plan report
NetBackup Protection Plan report has been incorporated to display Protection plan details. It lists down all the protection plans currently created under NetBackup along with number of assets protected by the plan.
It also displays the protection plan details and protected client details in drill down summary reports.
The NetBackup Protection Plan report can be accessed in IT Analytics.
Navigate to Backup Manager > Backup Policies > NetBackup Protection Plan report.
The report displays the following columns for further drill down detailed report.

Column | Description |

Management Server | NetBackup Primary Server name. |
Protection Plan | NetBackup Protection Plan Name which is created at the NetBackup side and under which clients are protected along with the policies. Policies are created dynamically and its name holds protection plan name. |
Workload Type | NetBackup Policy Type Name. |
Protected Assets (#Clients) | Number of clients which are getting protected under policy. |
File Analytics further supports drill down reports for more details.
Click required value displayed in the Management Server column of the overview report. IT Analytics displays details of the server.
Click required value displayed in the Protection Plan column of the overview report. IT Analytics displays NetBackup Protection Plan Policies report.
The report displays lists of policies created under the protect plan with other relevant information of the policy such as policy type, schedule name, retention days and status.
Click required value displayed in the Protection Plan column of the overview report. IT Analytics displays NetBackup Protection Plan Clients report.
The report displays lists of clients protected under the protection plan with relevant details of clients such as last backed up date and number of backups happened in last month.
