PDF report format
When you export a report or dashboard to PDF, IT Analytics formats the file so that it is easy to read, print, and distribute, for example when a printed or archived copy is required for compliance and audit review.
A PDF report includes the following elements:
Report title and generation timestamp. Displayed at the top of the first page. The date and time shown reflect when the report was generated, based on the Portal Server's time zone.
Column headers. Displayed at the top of the data table. For reports that span multiple pages, the column headers automatically repeat at the top of every page, so column context is retained no matter which page you are viewing.
Report data. The tabular data for the report, presented in the same column order as it appears on screen.
Page footer. Displayed at the bottom of every page and shows the current page number together with the total page count, in the format Page X of Y. For example, a ten-page report displays Page 1 of 10 on the first page and Page 10 of 10 on the last page. The total page count is calculated automatically based on the number of pages in the report.
Note:
Repeating column headers and page numbering are added to the page layout only. They do not alter, obscure, or remove any report data.
This layout is designed to support common review scenarios, such as printing multi-page reports, archiving reports to meet record-retention requirements, and distributing reports to auditors, compliance teams, or other stakeholders. Because column headers and page numbers are retained on every page, reviewers can accurately reference and validate data even after a report has been printed or removed from its original digital format.
