Data Collector Status Summary

Explore your data center using customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. Use Search to find reports, templates and dashboards across the portal.

Use the Reports tab to examine the catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:

System Administration Reports > Data Collector Status Summary

This report provides an at-a-glance view of any issues that may be occurring with your data collectors.

Refer to the IT Analytics User Guide for information about Advanced Filtering for Tabular Reports and Alerting.

Note:

The report scope selector includes a Show tasks checkbox. When this is checked, the following columns are displayed. When it is unchecked, only the Name, Product Name, and Status columns are included in the report's table.

Table: Data Collector Status Summary

Column name

Description

Name

The name of the data collector policy.

Product Name

Defines the product subsystem that is being collected.

Task

Lists the specific data collection task. These are defined in the policy. You can choose to omit this column by un-checking the Show Tasks option in the scope selector.

Status

Indicates the status of the collection task, such as warning, failed, or ok.

Last Update

The date and time the last collection task was run. You can choose to omit this column by un-checking the Show Tasks option in the scope selector.

Comments

The comments provide details to help you determine how often the data was accessed. You can choose to omit this column by un-checking the Show Tasks option in the scope selector.
