Commvault Simpana ESX Backup Summary

Access this report from the Commvault Simpana Job Summary (Homogeneous) by clicking the # of VMs link in that report.

See Commvault Simpana Job Summary Report (Homogeneous) .

This report enables visibility into the VMs that are being backed up by Commvault Simpana. Use this report for more granular backup auditing, down to the VM Guest level.

Note:

Under certain circumstances, some columns will be populated while most other values in the same row are null. This could occur, for example, when a VM job couldn't be started or a Commvault Simpana client had been deleted since the job ran. Even though, in these cases, this report does not show what has been backed up, it does provide insight into what was being backed up or possibly failed, which is useful information for service-level agreements (SLAs).
