Storage Optimization by Tier

Explore your data center using customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. Use Search to find reports, templates and dashboards across the portal.

Use the Reports tab to examine the catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:

Solutions > Storage Optimization > Storage Optimization by Tier

View a chart of potentially reclaimable and non-reclaimable storage, by tiers. You can also quickly examine the costs associated with optimization opportunities. By knowing costs, you can use the information to help prioritize the problems that have the greatest fiscal impact for your organization. Click a chart sector to view additional details in a similar chart, Storage Optimization Analysis, which renders data for a specific tier (chargeback policy), by infrastructure storage-optimization categories, such as Unallocated LUNs or Over-Provisioned Hosts. Capacity chargeback policies must be configured to support this report. Storage optimization details can be accessed via this chart.
