Non-VM Files

Explore your data center using customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. Use Search to find reports, templates and dashboards across the portal.

Use the Reports tab to examine the catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:

Solutions > Storage Optimization > Storage Optimization Analysis

Click the Non-VM Files sector.

Then, click a File Size link or check several boxes and Show Selected.

Table: Non-VM Files

Column name	Description
Datastore	Name of the datastore associated with the VM.
File Name	Name of the non-VM file in the inventory.
Top Folder	Top folder for the file location.
File Path	Path of the non-VM file in the inventory.
File Type	Type of the non-VM file in the inventory.
Virtual Disk Capacity	Capacity of the VM disks,
File Size	Size of the non-VM file in the inventory.
Array List	List of storage arrays associated with datastore.
Last Modified Date	Date and time the VM data was last modified.
Cost per GiB	Cost per GiB for storage associated with this storage optimization rule.
Total Cost	Total cost of the non-VM file in the inventory.
