AWS Orphan Volumes

Explore your data center using customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. Use Search to find reports, templates and dashboards across the portal.

Use the Reports tab to examine the catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:

Solutions > Storage Optimization > Storage Optimization Analysis

Click the AWS Orphan Volumes sector.

Then, click a Volume Size link or check several boxes and Show Selected.

Column name

Description

Account #

The AWS account ID, a 12-digit number.

Availability Zone Name

Name of the Availability Zone.

Resource ID

Unique identifier for the resource.

Volume Size

Size of the EBS volume when the snapshot was taken.

Cost per GiB

Cost per GiB for storage associated with this storage optimization rule.

Total Cost

Total cost of AWS orphan volumes.

Region Name

Name of the region.

Volume Name

Size of the EBS volume when the snapshot was taken.

Volume Type

The type of Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) volume, such as standard or gp2.

Status

Snapshot status, such as Pending, Completed, or Error.

Volume Creation Date

Date and time the AWS volume was created.

Volume Status

The status of the volume.

Encrypted

Indicates if the volume is encrypted, Y or N.

Marked for Delete

Indicates if the volume has been marked for deletion (soft deleted).
