VM Aged Snapshots

Explore your data center using customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. Use Search to find reports, templates and dashboards across the portal.

Use the Reports tab to examine the catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:

Solutions > Storage Optimization > Storage Optimization Analysis

Click the VM Aged Snapshots sector.

Then, click a File Size link or check several boxes and Show Selected.

VM Name

Name of the VM guest.

VM Server

Name of the virtual system.

Host

Host name.

Datastore

Name of the datastore.

Array List

List of storage arrays associated with datastore.

Snapshot Description

Description of the snapshot.

Snapshot Name

Name of the snapshot.

Creation Date

Date and time the snapshot was created.

File Name

Name of the snapshot file.

File Size

Size of the snapshot file.

Cost per GiB

Cost per GiB for storage associated with this storage optimization rule.

Total Cost

Total cost of VMWare snapshots.

File Path

Path of the snapshot file.

File Type

Type of the snapshot file.
