Microsoft Hyper-V VM Summary

Use this report to find the largest Virtual Machines. This report lists virtual guests/hosts with usage and status information.

Column name

Description

VM Name

Name of the Virtual Machine.

VM Server

The server that is hosting the VM.

Cluster Name

The cluster name associated with the VM Server.

Host Name

Hostname of the guest; value is displayed only if Host Resource collection has been run.

IP Address

IP address of the Virtual Machine; value is displayed only if Host Resource collection has been run.

Connection

None, Connected, or Suspended.

Health

This is essentially an alarm indicator that reflects the condition of the resources: White circle=Status Unknown, Green check mark=Normal, Yellow triangle=Warning, Red X=Alert, definite problem.

Status

Disk Provisioned

Physical disk space being used by the VM.

Allocated

Allocated virtual disk space that the VM recognizes.

Memory Usage

Virtual memory allocated to the VM.

Storage File System

Used/Total capacity for associated filesystem(s).

Mount Point

Mount point on the VM Server.

LUN

If the disk space has been allocated from an array, this is the LUN name that space has been allocated from. Value is displayed only if Host Resource and Array collection has been run.

Last Updated

Last collection time.
