NetApp Cluster-Mode Vserver Summary

This report identifies the current configuration of Vservers in your environment, including aggregates associated with Vservers, as of the last data collection cycle. Vservers with configuration metrics are listed in a tabular report. Explore your data center using customizable report templates or by using parts of your IT infrastructure as entry points. Use Search to find reports, templates and dashboards across the portal.

Use the Reports tab to examine the catalog of templates, dashboards and reports - organized by products along with user-created, and system folders. This report is located here:

Name of the storage array.

See Array Capacity and Utilization (NetApp Cluster).

Disallowed

Protocols not allowed for this Vserver. Possible values: nfs = NFS protocol cifs = CIFS protocol fcp = FCP protocol iscsi = iSCSI protocol ndmp = NDMP protocol.

Inf Vol

Specifies if this Vserver is a Vserver with Infinite Volume. Prior to Data ONTAP 8.2.0, Vserver with Infinite Volume is called Repository Vserver and once a repository Vserver is created in a cluster, additional Vservers cannot be created. Likewise, a Repository Vserver cannot be created if non-repository Vservers already exist in a cluster. Default value is false.

Max Vols

Maximum number of volumes that can be created on the Vserver. When specified as part of a vserver-create, this is the maximum number of volumes that can be created on the Vserver.

Name Map

Name mapping switch configuration details for the Vserver. Possible values: file, ldap. Default value is file.

Name Server

Name server switch configuration details for the Vserver. Possible values: nis, file, ldap.

NIS Domain

Root/Aggr

Name of the NetApp aggregate.

Root/Vol

The name of the volume.

Snap Policy

Default snapshot policy setting for all volumes of the Vserver. This policy will be assigned to all volumes created in this Vserver unless the volume create request explicitly provides a snapshot policy or the volume is modified later with a specific snapshot policy. A volume-level snapshot policy always overrides the default Vserver-wide snapshot policy.

Type

Type of Vserver. Possible values: data, admin, and node.

UUI

Universal unique identifier (UUID) for the Vserver.
