Configuring badge expiration

Configure the expiration of NEW badges in the Homesection of the Reports tab. By default, NEWbadges will no longer display after 14 days. You can change that value by adding a line to the portal.properties file.

  1. Revise the default expiration period for NEWbadges on the Reportstab using the portal.properties file:

    Linux:

    /opt/aptare/portalconf/portal.properties

    Windows:

    C:\opt\aptare\portalconf\portal.properties
  2. Add the following line:

    cloudTemplateNewBadgeExpireInDays = <enter numeric value>
  3. Restart the Tomcat Portal Services.
