Introduction

CyberArk, password vault application, is designed to discover, secure, rotate, and control access to privileged account passwords used to access systems throughout the enterprise IT environment. This integration enables IT Analytics to automate the process of fetching latest Oracle user accounts passwords from CyberArk, which changes passwords periodically according to the organizational policy.

To facilitate this integration, CyberArk exposes a REST API to fetch the passwords from the Agentless AAM (Central Credential Provider). IT Analytics fetches the latest oracle user account password via this REST API. The following instructions do not cover how to setup CyberArk, but they do call out the information required from the CyberArk setup.
