Alert Dashboard
This dashboard provides an overview of current and historical alert conditions. It provides a more detailed drilldown view that enables you to actively manage the alerts. Each chart on the dashboard is a report briefly explained in the sections below.
Note:
If the exported report or dashboard contains a generic placeholder chart image, the chart export feature on your system has been disabled. See the Remove "PhantomJS" from IT Analytics Portal tech note for further details.
This is a donut chart that displays all alerts by the Alert Policy, with drilldown to Alert Detail. You can filter the report by object types and alert rules.
The bar chart displays all current alerts by alert type for a selected time period. You can filter the report by object type and alert rules or drill down to the Alert Summary History and view the alerts by policy.
Graphic representation of all historical alerts by Alert Policy. You can filter the report by object types and alert rules. Drill down to the Alert Detail History to view all alerts within the policy. Comparing this with the Alert Summary report lets you evaluate how the current alert breakdown compares to the historical.
Lists a summary of current alerts based on definitions in the Alert Policies and sorted by Policy. Report can be filtered by object types. You can or one or more alerts inline. Use this report to view objects with alerts triggered by thresholds set in the Alert Policy. Drilldown to view root causes for the alert.
Note:
Alerts must be enabled and configured in order to populate the Alert Dashboard. See Configure an alert.
