To enable historic collection for Dell PowerProtect Data Manager, you must add the Advanced parameter. Once the parameter is set, it gets applied in every collection run. Ensure that parameter is deleted after collecting the historical data.

To add an advance parameter, see IT Analytics User Guide > Customize with advanced parameters > Adding an advance parameter section.

  • DPDM_LOOKBACK_HOURS

  • Host: Add Dell PowerProtect Data Manager servers for which this advanced parameter must be applied.

If the above parameters are not set, the default look-back time is 3 days (36 hours).
