About configuring SSH host keys
Every SSH server is configured to use a host key to verify that the client is connected to the correct host. The host key fingerprint to the various clients is provided by the SSH server administrator.
Using any SSH client, you can manually verify the host key while connecting to the server. From version 3.6, communication with third party enclosure is enabled using public host key verification.
The SSH fingerprint should validate the communication at every login using public host key verification. In version 3.6, below are the third-party enclosure technologies used by SSH channel to communicate with respective storage arrays:
HP3PAR RemoteCopy
IBM SVC
Recover Point
In Resiliency Platform, to communicate with third-party enclosures using SSH channel, you need to enable the Peer host identify verification toggle button which is present under Settings > Miscellaneous card.
From version 3.6,Veritas Resiliency Platform supports RSA host keys for public host key verification.
