How to recover the VMware virtual machine using NetBackup when virtual machines are protected by Resiliency Platform
Below tables describe the details of the resiliency group of VMware virtual machines using NetBackup,:

After restoring to original location, edit the resiliency group, remove and re-add the virtual machine to restart full sync of recovered virtual machine.

Use "Overwrite virtual machine" option If original virtual machine is unregistered but not deleted from the datastore, the recover operation creates new folder on the datastore. Delete the old folder before or after the recover to reclaim the space.
If restoring on alternate location, it is not recommended to retain any virtual machine ID and virtual machine name.
If restoring on alternate location, but still retaining IDs, edit the resiliency group after the recover in order to update the resiliency group configuration.
