Support for Instance Metadata Service v2 in Resiliency Platform
Resiliency Platform uses instance metadata service to fetch platform information while configuring the Resiliency Platform virtual appliances and configure network after migrating the workloads. AWS has introduced Instance MetaData Service v2 (IMDSv2) as a security enhancement over IMDSv1. The support for IMDSv2 is added in Resiliency Platform from version 4.0 for the Resiliency Platform appliances and protected workloads. For all the requests to AWS instance metadata service, Resiliency Platform uses IMDSv2 mechanism. This metadata service is supported on all the AWS regions.
While configuring the resiliency group for disaster recovery, option on each virtual machine is available.
