Altering the service objectives
From version 4.0, a new service objective template named Multi-RPO recovery of hosts is introduced in Resiliency Platform that supports multiple RPO levels. Remote recovery of hosts-based service objective can be changed or altered to the Multi-RPO recovery of hosts service objective.
Steps to alter / change the service objective
- Prerequisites: You need to have Copy or Replication based data availability (Data Mover Technology) pre-configured for your workloads for upgrading the service objective template.
- Navigate to Assets >> Resiliency Group(s) tab.
- In the list of the resiliency groups, select the resiliency group which is configured either using Copy or Replication data availability .
- Click on Edit option. In Manage Assets panel, select the Edit Configuration option.
- On the Select Assets and Review Environment panels, make the desired changes if any and click on Next.
- On the Select Service Objective panel, you can see options for Recover hosts with different levels of RPO (monitored) and Recover hosts with different levels of RPO (not monitored). Select any one from the service objective to alter the resiliency group with the Multi-RPO recovery of hosts.
- Complete the remaining configuration by clicking Next on each step.
- Click Finish to complete the edit operation.
