Uninstalling the Netbackup Recovery Readiness Bundle for Azure

The Recovery Readiness Bundle for Azure is introduced in version 10.1 for Linux workloads as there are Linux only virtual machines present on VMware and after backing up to Azure Cloud, the drivers for these virtual machines are not present. The Recovery Readiness Bundle installs these required drivers and configures network customization.

You can also uninstall the bundle before deleting the resiliency group.

To uninstall the Recovery Readiness Bundle for Azure

  1. Navigate to:

Assets (navigation pane) Resiliency Group(s) tab

  2. Locate the resiliency group to which the Recovery Readiness Bundle is attached.
  3. On the row for the resiliency group, select the vertical ellipsis or right click on the resiliency group and click Delete.

  4. Provide the password for the root user and select the checkbox Uninstall Recovery Readiness Bundle for Azure from host(s)
  5. Click Submit.
