Configuring NetBackup Cloud Recovery Server (CRS) with Veritas Alta Recovery Vault storage account in Resiliency Platform
Using Resiliency Platform console, you can add Cloud Recovery Server (CRS) which has Veritas Alta Recovery Vault storage account configured for Azure cloud along with MSDP-C.
Configure CRS which has Veritas Alta Recovery Vault storage account configured in Azure cloud
- Navigate to Settings (menu bar) > Infrastructure > Details View. Click the Copy Manager environment card and then click + NetBackup Cloud Recovery Server.
- In the Add NetBackup Cloud Recovery Server panel, enter the following information, and click Next.
Enter the hostname of the NetBackup CRS.
Enter the port number configured on the CRS for web user interface. The default port number is 443.
Select either one of the option API Key or Credentials.
If you select API Key, provide the API key generated from NetBackup application.
Note:
To communicate Resiliency Platform to NetBackup primary server using API key, you should upgrade the NetBackup Primary Server to version 8.2 or above. For more details on the API key, refer to the Creating and using API keys chapter from the NetBackup Web UI Security Administrator's Guide.
If you select Credentials option, enter the user name and password to access the Primary Server.
- Click Submit.
- On the Add Storage Account Details panel, you can see the storage account name and endpoint URL which is configured in the CRS.
- Provide the Veritas Alta Recovery Vault storage account access key details and click Submit.
- Click Finish.
The CRS added is seen in the NetBackup Cloud Recovery Servers list in Connected state.
