NetBackup™ Status Codes Reference Guide

NetBackup status code: 5100

Message: Unable to create the robot inventory file.

Explanation:

The following scenarios may cause this issue:

  • Failed to set permissions on the file.

  • Failed to write contents to the file.

Recommended Action: Perform the following as appropriate:

  • If the file is not created, confirm that you have enough space available on the system.

  • If NetBackup failed to correctly set permissions on the file, it could be due to incorrect file permissions. Ensure that you have the necessary permission to access the folder or the file. Select the file or folder, right-click, and select Properties. Then, select the Security tab and confirm that your user account has the necessary permissions.

  • If NetBackup failed to write the contents to the file enable the write privileges on the file.
