Viewing MSDP S3 import jobs
After a replicated MSDP-Object-Store backup image finishes replicating, an job starts on the replica site, in addition to the existing Import from replica job. Both are visible in the Activity Monitor.
The job:
Requests the MSDP S3 server to start the import task.
Reads the object metadata from the replicated MSDP-Object-Store backup image.
Writes that object metadata into the MSDP S3 bucket on the replica.
Is tracked and updated in the Activity Monitor until the import completes.
